Sunday School is a great opportunity to build relationships and establish community, especially for children. The following Sunday School curricula are built for a one-hour program period, inclusive of time for free play and other activities that might be part of your Sunday morning rhythm.

We believe that students need to hear a story or concept multiple times to truly internalize it, so each curriculum includes four lessons to cover four weeks. While most JL Creative curriculum is focused on one scripture selection, we also offer curriculum that is based on the liturgical calendar. Our liturgical calendar-based curriculum covers the duration of the particular church season.

Each session always begins with a time for sharing, which allows students to trickle in before the curriculum comes into focus. Next, the students hear the scripture selection. This is followed by several activities that reinforce the themes and concepts in the scripture. The time closes in prayer. Each week includes suggested script in bold for adult volunteers to read, but leaves space for organic conversation.
